We are proud of our heritage and many of our original products are still a part of our product line. Originally founded in 1963, our founder Harold Clark established representatives that went door to door selling personal care and home remedies. Some of these products included liniments and ointments. The original product line also included selling personalized family Bibles. The creativity of our origins still hold true today as we are constiantly creating new products that address customer needs.

1963
Founding of Georgia Pride Products
More than 50 years ago, a young hardworking man just out of the US Army named Harold Clark came up with the idea to sell a line of ethnic care, personnel care, specialty products, soaps, and bibles to small business and individuals in and around the Atlanta, Georgia area. In 1963, the height of the civil rights movement was just beginning and Atlanta Georgia was not only the hot spot of civil rights activity but was the heartbeat city of the movement. Innovative Formulations was originally founded in 1963 by Harold Clark and an army veteran. Just as our nation faced the crisis of losing our president, Harold Clark embarked on the launching of a business that was centered on American Innovation and new technologies. The Georgia Pride product division was the original product line. Mr. Clark sold all of the original product's doors to the door and the product line included liniments, ointments, and personalized family Bibles.
1978
DEVELOPMENT of Georgia Pride Product LINE
The next couple of years brought about expansion of Georgia Pride into the water treatment industry and both included domestic and international expansion. Georgia Pride emerged as company with unique products that could handle a variety of waste water and odor control problems. Many of the products were used city water departments in and around Atlanta. Additionally Georgia Pride held the prestigious account Delta Airlines selling them hand sanitizers and hand care products.

Harold Clark was doing his own little part of bring equality to all people of every color, nationality and creed. His small business was growing and he began to spread a message of love peace and healing to small little communities of every color. As he brought his Georgia Pride Product line to his customer, he developed friendships that would last a life time. Many times Harold would discuss worldview, curent events and the state of our nation with the customer he met.
1988
Expandsion of Georgia Pride Product Line
In the '80s Georgia Pride product line continued to expand and the development into the Innovative Formulations as product lines began to emerge that differed from Personal Care products. The Innovative product line included a variety of industries and institutional products including janitorial supplies, floor care, carpet care, laundry products, sanitation products used in food processing and chemical intermediates used in the textile and carpet industry, etc.
Our registered trademark line of products GREEN OPTIONS has been a staple of our product catalog since we first introduced it. As it meets and/or exceeds the EPA DFE (Design for the Environment) protocol set out that ensures that the products being used by the consumers are environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
1998
Development of Microxyme and lubrix Product lines
In the 90's the development of our LUBRIX and MICROXYME product brands began to emerge. These new innovative product lines included a number of US and international patents that included the developed technologies in micro science and industrial lubrication. The MICROXYME Technologies product focus included the fermentation and development of new bacteria stains that digested many types of industrial waste. It also included the development of enzyme technologies that worked in conjunction with the bacteria stains. Our LUBRIX product branding included a complete line of technologies centered around long-lasting, heat-stable synthetic, and para-synthetic lubricants used in a variety of industrial industries manufacturing process.

2008
Development of Custom Processing and Blue Planet Product lines
Early in the 2000's Innovative Formulations expanded its product line to include products used a variety of specialized manufacturing industries including carpet manufacturing, plastic and PVC extrusion, textile, rubber manufacturing etc. This specialized product line included customized formulations for our customers through our Custom Processing Division. As new developments in green technologies and water quality technologies were emerging our Blue Planet Technologies branding became essential for our customers to meet new regulatory guidelines for wastewater release. We have the purchasing power and distribution of some of the largest US suppliers, as well as multiple sources of supply raw materials and packaging in both domestic and international markets. Selection: We offer a wide range of over 3,000 products from Personnel care products, Industrial & Institutional product, Microbial & Enzyme-based products, floor care products, Industrial synthetic, and para-synthetic lubricants, cleaning compounds, food processing chemicals, water treatment, solid liquids, aerosols and wipe based chemistries and much more. Development of Essential Drilling System Product lines
Our company has expanded to include many product lines and our manufacturing facility produces unsurpassed quality products that live up to quality standards include REACH, NSF EPA, FDA, GMP, and CGAMP. The development of our Essential Drilling Systems Division was developed for the oil and gas drilling industry but encompasses concrete additives used across a variety of industrial applications. Innovative Formulations continues to develop innovative and creative products used in many new emerging markets and our team of scientists continues to work on new creative technologies that revolutionize industrial applications. Today, three generations later as (Joshua Cline joins our organization), we carry on the same legacy of developing fellowship with friends, family, and neighbors through our customers. Today we are still one of the leading producers and developers of personnel care and industrial product in the southeast. From our humble beginnings, to now our third generation of leaders the legacy “to treat our neighbors as we ourselves wanted to be treated” lives on. We have learned from over a half-century of work, that dedication, commitment, and hard work are core values and principals that determine our business success.
